our name says as much about our geographical location as it does about a kind of passionate music that we love and are inspired by.

northern souls is a media production label who work with and look to discover, nurture and develop original ideas and talent.

We co-produce films and cross-platform projects with people who care equally as much about the planet and the people on it, as they do about playing with cinema, formats and storytelling. The soul in Northern Souls is about collaboration, inclusion, diversity and action.

Our evolving slate currently includes the feature and interactive experience LEGACY OF AN INVISIBLE BULLET (dir. Doug Aubrey), creative documentaries BALOMANIA (dir. Sissel Dargis), IF I DIE TODAY (dir. Camilla Arlien), THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE (dir. Carina Randløv), MEN OF STONE (dir. Ulrik Gutt-Nielsen), PLANTS AT THE ETERNITY FJORD (dir. Esther Elmholt), HANIN (dir. Rania Tawfik), tv series SPRØDE SVÆR OG VARME HJERTER (dir. Ulrik Gutt-Nielsen), as well as fiction feature THE MAN ON THE BEACH and co-productions like SALT OF THE SOUTH (dir. Rami Jarboui). We’re also involved with a number of projects as creative consultants, freelance producer/directors and co-producers.
